World Baseball Classic (WBC) semifinalist Japan will face the Los Angeles Dodgers at Camelback Ranch-Glendale (CR-G) at 1:05 p.m. this Sunday, March 19, en route to the WBC's single-elimination championship round next week at Dodger Stadium.

Japan, winner of WBC Pool E (Tokyo), faces the second-place team from Pool F (San Diego) -- the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Venezuela or the United States. The game will be played Tuesday night at 6 p.m. PT at Dodger Stadium, and tickets to see the Monday and Tuesday semifinals as well as the Wednesday championship in Los Angeles can be purchased by going to dodgers.com/wbc.

Team Japan, undefeated through the first two rounds of the WBC, is a two-time (2006, '09) WBC champion and is the only country to reach the semifinal round each year the WBC has been played.

Team Japan is led by WBC first-round MVP Yoshitomo Tsutsugoh, hero of the clinching win vs. Team Israel with a sixth-inning home run. It was his third homer of the tournament. The 25-year-old Tsutsugoh, the clean-up hitter for the Yokohama DENA BayStars of Nippon Professional Baseball, hit 44 home runs in 133 games last season.

Tickets for Sunday's contest at Camelback Ranch remain available online (camelbackranchbaseball.com) or by visiting the CR-G ticket office. With sellout crowds expected at Camelback Ranch from Thursday-Saturday, Sunday's Team Japan vs. Dodgers game remains the only contest at The Ranch this weekend with tickets available.
